WOMEN'S VOCATIONAL COLLEGE
A REPORT FOR THE YEAR 2000 - 2001

latest students
The 2000-2001 Women's Vocational College Computer Training class was started on July 1st, 2000. Director P.J. Titus prayerfully inaugurated the first session. Twenty poor women were enrolled this year. They came from different parts of Andhra Pradesh and Kerala states.

The name of the course conducted is "Diploma in Computer Software". The syllabus has been renewed and more advanced subjects and techniques are included. More job-oriented packages are being taught this year. This will help students to get more opportunities for jobs.

This year out of 20 students 16 have got First division (above 60%) and 4 students have left in the middle of the course due to personal reasons. Out of 16 graduates, 12 applied for jobs and are under process of selection in different companies and offices. Since the beginning of this project more than 25 women are employed in various places and supporting their families.

We have purchased 2 more computers, which have advanced features. Adding a few more computers to the lab will serve the students to learn more and save their time.

Thank you for sponsoring this project. Your kindness helps many families to improve their socio-economical status. This is our vision, which is being fulfilled through your sponsorship. We hope you will continue to support the poor women of India. Thank you. God Bless You.
